The 12th German IT Law Day of the DAV IT Law Working Group (davit) will take place on 3 and 4 April 2025 in Berlin and online under the motto ‘IT Law between Innovation and Regulation’. The agenda is now almost complete.
With the German IT Law Day, the DAV IT Law Working Group (davit) and the DeutscheAnwaltAkademie offer a forum for professional exchange on all aspects of information technology law. The ‘German IT Law Day’ is aimed at lawyers, in particular IT law specialists, lawyers from companies, ministries and associations as well as IT managers. As with the 11th, 10th and 9th German IT Law Day, the event will take place both on site and online for the 12th time; this time the date is 3 and 4 April 2025 and will be moderated by lawyer Karsten U. Bartels (davit). According to the not yet complete agenda, AI (IT expertises of AI systems, image AIs) will also be a topic at next year's event. But also the NIS-2 Implementation Act, GDPR issues, hate speech on the internet, product liability for software and more. Speakers include Isabelle Biallaß (judge at Essen District Court), lawyer Dr Lea Stegemann and Thomas Sievers (BMI).
