DENIC eG invites you to the upcoming Domain pulse under the title ‘Stable, secure, responsible - shaping the digital future together!’, which will take place from 11 to 12 February 2025 in Dresden. Linus Neumann will give the keynote speech.

Domain pulse is the most important event for current topics, tendencies and trends relating to domain names in the German-speaking world. The symposium is organised jointly and alternately by the registries of the national extensions of Germany (DENIC eG), Austria (Nic.at GmbH) and Switzerland (SWITCH). The current host is the German DENIC eG, which is inviting participants to Dresden on 11 and 12 February 2025. The event will start on Thursday, 11 February 2025 at 09:00 with a get-together, followed by a welcome by Thomas Keller, Andreas Musielak (both DENIC eG) and Claudia van Veen, who will moderate the event, at 09:30. The opening speech will be given by Linus Neumann (hacker & consultant for IT security, Logbuch:Netzpolitik) on the topic of ‘How to blow an entire IT security budget without attackers realising it’. After a short coffee break, Markus Beckedahl (digitalpolitik.de) will give a talk entitled ‘Of troll factories and religious warriors - who is spreading disinformation and why, and what can be done about it’. Shortly before lunchtime, Manuel ‘Honkhase’ Atug (AG KRITIS, AGND) will take a look at ‘New challenges for the IT of the future’. After the lunch break, Irina Soeffky (Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport Affairs) will discuss ‘Disinformation, digital strategy, task forces’. Other speakers include Jorge Cancio, Wolfgang Kleinwächter, Julia Pohle, Andreas Dengel, Richard Wein and Christian Stummeyer. The second working day ends with the handover of the baton to SWITCH for Domain pulse 2026 and the subsequent farewell lunch.

Domain pulse 2025, entitled ‘Stable, secure, responsible - shaping the digital future together!’, will take place from 11 to 12 February 2025 at the Volkswagen Gläserne Manufaktur, Lennéstraße 1 in 01069 Dresden. An evening programme will take place on 11 February 2025, the details of which will be announced on site at Domain pulse. Registration for Domain pulse 2025 is now open.
