Frankfurt/Main - 13th IT Law Day in November

HERA Fortbildungs GmbH der Hessischen Rechtsanwaltschaft and others are organising the 13th Frankfurt IT Law Day on 15 and 16 November 2024 in Frankfurt am Main. Registration for participation is still possible on site and online.

Like the previous Frankfurt IT Law Days, the 13th Frankfurt IT Law Day in November 2024 will take place as a hybrid event. As usual, the organisers are davit - Arbeitsgemeinschaft Informationstechnologie im Deutschen Anwaltverein (DAV) e.V. and HERA Fortbildungs GmbH der Hessischen Rechtsanwaltschaft, in cooperation with the Frankfurter Anwaltverein e.V. and Prof. Dr. Indra Spiecker, gen. Döhmann, LL.M., Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main. As usual, the event will be moderated by Dr Thomas Lapp (Frankfurt/M) and Stephan Schmidt (Mainz). The agenda is now available. On the first day, the focus will be on legal issues relating to artificial intelligence. Anja Wyrobek asks ‘Who is liable for artificial intelligence errors?’ and discusses key elements of the proposed directive on AI liability. Prof Dr Kristian Kersting asks whether artificial intelligence is a cycle of data, data protection and security and, among other presentations, Prof Dr Haya Schulmann shows the impact of technological advances on the cyber security landscape. The second day of the 13th Frankfurt IT Law Day will cover topics including the new EU data law (Dr Michelle Weber), current developments in IT and data protection law in the healthcare sector (Charlotte Guckenmus) and digital evidence through to deep fakes (Prof Dr Christian Gomille).

The two-day 13th Frankfurt IT Law Day 2024 will take place as a face-to-face and online event on 15 November 2024 from 13:00 to 19:00 and on 16 November 2024 from 09:00 to 15:00 on the premises of the Frankfurt Bar Association, Bockenheimer Anlage 36, 60322 Frankfurt am Main. As always, the 13th Frankfurt IT Law Day 2024 is recognised as an advanced training event according to § 15 FAO for IT law with 10 hours. The participation costs vary between EUR 487.90 (EUR 410.00 net) for online participation and EUR 511.70 (EUR 430.00 net) for on-site participation.
