On the island of Langeoog, Nordseeminare.de, in cooperation with Surfen und Recht (surfenundrecht.de), is offering a training course on the topics of AI and copyright, data protection and competition law at the end of March 2025. Lawyer Jörg Heidrich, known from heise.de, is co-speaker of the weekend seminar.
From Dortmund to Langeoog. Lawyer Thomas Meinke from Dortmund is taking over the conference management for the training in the fresh air on the North Sea island of Langeoog. In a small group with excellent speakers and in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, the participants will enjoy the training. From Friday afternoon on March 28 to Sunday afternoon on March 30, 2025, the new EU legal framework for artificial intelligence will be presented, among other things. Topics covered will include the legal basis and ethical issues of AI, the obligation to provide AI training, subliminal influence in online marketing and AI in legal practice. Questions regarding the use of data and copyright will also be addressed. Numerous other topics will also be addressed. In addition to lawyer Thomas Meinke (Dortmund), who will lead the seminar, the speakers will include lawyer Jörg Heidrich (heise.de and others), lawyer Niklas Mühleis (Hanover) and Prof. Ingolf Rascher (Ruhr University Bochum and Maastricht University).
The training course “IT and IT Contract Law” on Langeoog will take place from March 28, 2025 from 15:00 to March 30, 2025 at 13:00 at the conference hotel Haus Bethanien, Barkhausenstraße 31-33 in 26465 Langeoog. The costs are approx. EUR 300 for the individual participants for two nights with full board. There is an additional charge for a double room and meals for one accompanying person. A total of 15 training hours in accordance with § 15 FAO can be completed in one weekend.
