ICANN is organizing a “Contracted Parties Summit” in Hanoi (Vietnam) in May 2025, which will focus on “Registrant Verification” and “Phishing” in a relaxed exchange at eye level.
ICANN's “Global Domains and Strategy Team” is inviting accredited registrars and gTLD registries to the “Contracted Parties Summit” in Hanoi (Vietnam) from May 5 to 7, 2025. The ICANN Contracted Parties Summit offers attendees the opportunity to address topics of mutual interest and importance. The Contracted Parties Summit is not a typical ICANN meeting; no rules and regulations are negotiated. Participants will meet at the venue on Monday, May 5, 2025 in the afternoon from 3:00 p.m. and will be able to engage directly with ICANN staff. There will be a reception in the early evening. The “Summit Session” will take place from May 6 to 7, 2025. Topics include “Requirements and Best Practices for Registrant Verification”, “Cyber Reporting Framework”, “Geopolitical/WSIS+20”, various DNS sessions and a presentation on phishing. The APAC DNS Forum will follow from May 8 to 9, 2025, where participants will again be able to have 1:1 discussions with ICANN employees.
The ICANN “Contracted Parties Summit” will take place from May 5 to 7, 2025 at the InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 in the Landmark72 Tower (Pham Hung, Area E6, Me Tri, Nam Tu Liem) in Hanoi (Vietnam). The APAC DNS Forum 2025 will immediately follow at the same location. Participation is free of charge.
