The International Trademark Association (INTA) is once again hosting a seminar in Munich. The “2024 Seminar for Paralegals” on October 02, 2024 is supported by Maiwald GmbH.
The INTA seminar at the beginning of October 2024 will take place on the premises of the Trademark and Patent Office in Munich. It is aimed at paralegals, patent attorneys and trademark clerks. Susanne Ferstl (INTA, Maiwald GmbH) will be the moderator. The seminar starts on October 02, 2024 at 09:00 am. The speakers will be Martin Sebele (DPMA), who will provide an update on trade mark classifications, Dr. Senta Bingener (DPMA), who will address the metaverse, Qiangqiang Li (WIPO), who will look at recent developments in the Madrid system and online services, statistics on international applications and irregularities as well as the filing and administration of international registrations, Susanna Heurung (Maiwald), who will take a look at the development of new types of trade marks, Prof. Dr. Maximilian Kinkeldey (INTA, Maiwald GmbH), who will present the latest developments of the Madrid system and online services. Dr. Maximilian Kinkeldey (Grünecker), who asks where the journey of platform liability in trademark law is heading, and others. There will be time for questions between the presentations. The event will end shortly before 5 p.m. and then there will be time for discussions.
The INTA seminar will take place on October 02, 2024 from 09:00 to 16:50 on the premises of the German Trademark and Patent Office, Zweibrückenstraße 12 in 80331 Munich. There is space for 400 participants. Participation is free of charge. The registration deadline is September 24, 2024. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
