ICANN is organizing the annual “Contracted Parties Summit” in Hanoi (Vietnam) in May 2025, which will be followed by the “APAC DNS Forum 2025”. In a relaxed exchange at eye level with ICANN employees, both events focus primarily on issues relating to the Domain Name System and on maintaining contacts.

ICANN's Global Domains and Strategy team is inviting accredited registrars and gTLD registries to the Contracted Parties Summit in Hanoi (Vietnam) from May 5 to 7, 2025. The ICANN Contracted Parties Summit offers attendees the opportunity to address topics of mutual interest and importance. The Contracted Parties Summit is not a typical ICANN meeting; no rules and regulations are negotiated. Participants will meet at the venue on the afternoon of Monday, May 5, 2025 and will be able to engage directly with ICANN staff. There will be a reception in the evening. The actual work begins the following day and comprises various summit sessions over two days.

This will be followed by the two-day “APAC DNS Forum 2025” on May 8, 2025. This Domain Name System Forum for the Asia-Pacific region is an important platform for the regional DNS community to network, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration in the domain name industry. The APAC DNS Forum allows regional DNS industry experts and the community to come together to discuss new developments, opportunities and challenges in the domain name market. ICANN also facilitates direct discussions with ICANN staff.

The ICANN “Contracted Parties Summit” will take place in Hanoi (Vietnam) from May 5 to 7, 2025. The exact venue has not yet been determined, nor has the agenda. Participation is free of charge. The event will be followed by the “APAC DNS Forum”, which will also enable one-to-one meetings with ICANN employees from May 8 to 9, 2025. ICANN is also combining this with a UA Day (Universal Acceptance Day), which is not yet included in the official list of UA Days.
