You can always buy SLDs from your own TLDs.
If you go to your list of TLDs and open the section "Gants" for a specific TLD, you can deceide if other people are allowed to buy SLDs under your TLDs as well.

If you activate royalties for your TLD, you will even earn 50 % of the sales prices. (Royalties costs 50 $ - one-time payment.)
Thank you all! It doesn't have to be like this. The owner must have at least one SLD for free. Because he/she has to test a lot of things before he/she can sell his/her first domain. It is a mistake to assume that the customer/buyer will come and buy it himself. The buyer will ask first!!! And he will ask the seller/owner of the TLD, who at the moment himself knows nothing! That is, the Freename platform itself does not give clear instructions on how to use Web3 domains and does not help the TLD owner to do this.
Freename is preparing a lot of product development during the next months. This includes a lot of tools to increase sales, a reseller API, an improved reseller page: https://freename.io/list-your-tlds-on-t ... ling-page/ and much more. Within only a little bit of time, this should help bringing awareness about the benefits of Freename domains.
BTW. Patrick shows us in his video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxKMdMcwhM8... and we see that there are about a dozen TLDs in his portfolio. Here's a question? Did he buy them? Don't think! He needs it for work and they gave it to him, allocated it... The owner of the TLD also needs it for work!!!

Since Patrick is a Freename employee, I don't think that he has to pay for these TLDs, since he is using them for his work at Freename.

You are absolutely right. Freename announced solutions for this in previous calls, too. Freename is talking about their roadmap regularly. It's possible to learn about it in the events of Freename that are listed in the calendar of this forum: calendar.php?nxu=85777411nx67377
