The fastest way to customize prices for TLDs

Postby Freenamer » Thu 6. Jun 2024, 13:54

If you have a lot of TLDs in your account, customizing prices for them can be very time consuming.

Here are a few tips on how to do it faster:

  • In advanced mode you have to adjust 31 different character lengths (in 4 sections), but in simplified mode only 7 different character lengths.
Hence you can save a lot of time, if you are using only the simplified mode.

  • Always press "Send OTP" before you adjust the prices. As soon you are ready with customizing the prices, you can enter the verification code received by email.
All settings get saved including the changes done between the time of sending and entering the vericification code into the field "Email Verification".
With this behavior, you don't have to wait for the verification code. Instead you are using this time with price customization.
It's no problem to complete this task in the 3 minutes available.

  • If you want to customize the prices for several TLDs all at once, don't navigate back to the TLD list. Instead overwrite the TLD in the link of the address bar:
    https://freename.io/portfolio/tlds/manage/TLD/customize
Just update the value close to the end of the string to any domain that you want to see next.
All you have to do is to overwrite the TLD and then press "Enter".

  • Open two windows of your browser, place one on the left side and one on the right side of your desktop monitor.
In the left window you can place the TLD list and in the right window the section "Customize Prices" of one TLD.
Cut and paste the TLD name from the left window into the address bar of the right window as soon you want to continue with the next TLD (see previous tip).

  • Before the execution the function "cut and paste", place your mouse on the name of a TLD and execute a double click. This marks the entire word.
If you execute a triple click, the complete text of a line gets marked. This is helpful if you want to mark a SLD and TLD together (e. g. for more use cases).
